DSST

The DANTES Subject Standardized Test (DSST) is a nationally recognized testing program that gives you the opportunity to receive college credit for learning acquired outside the traditional college classroom. The program is administered year-round by colleges and universities throughout the United States. DSST offers over 30+ test titles in the areas of Social Science, Business, Mathematics, Applied Technology, Humanities, and Physical Science.

If students have any questions regarding DSST tests, please contact the Testing Center by calling (402) 844-7281, emailing testing@northeast.edu, or visiting www.getcollegecredit.com/test_takers

DSST

  • DSST exam credit will only be entered on students' Northeast transcripts if they are currently enrolled or have graduated from Northeast.
  • Every institution sets its own policies regarding DSST. If students think they might transfer to another institution, they should know the policy of both institutions before taking the DSST exam.
  • Students can take two exams on any given exam date.
  • Students must wait 30 days to retake a failed DSST exam.
  • DSST testing is computer-based, and students' results and score reports can be reviewed online at tcnet.prometric.com/dsst.
  • A current government-issued photo ID with signature is required for all DSST testing.
  • Where calculators are allowed; only non-programmable, four-function, handheld calculators may be used.
