Having new facilities and updated technology in the facilities would really make this place grow exponentially. The sky is honestly the limit. We have great students. We have great faculty. If we just had great facilities, things would be very good for many years to come.

    SLA Student

I really want to stay here and be local. I always had plans to go - grow-up and move - but after visiting with advisors, instructors, faculty, staff, and students I know there is something special here in Norfolk, specifically at Northeast. I want to challenge myself and bring something greater to the institution.

    Scholarship Recipient

I have been so blessed on my college journey at Northeast Community College. The Paul R. Rohrke Memorial Scholarship was a wonderful surprise. It has been a privilege and honor to have been selected as the recipient. It is because of help from this scholarship that my goals of becoming a college graduate are soon to be occurring. The support that this scholarship provides has allowed me to focus more on my school work than the financial (worry) side of college which can happen as a young student. Thank you for believing in me and supporting my dreams! I cannot stress enough what your kindness means to me. Thanks again!

    Volleyball Student-Athlete

I chose Northeast because it was close to home and had a very nice campus and it was very affordable. I gained so many friendships through playing volleyball and living on campus. I also made so many memories throughout these last two years that I will have for a lifetime.

I felt like Northeast is a place where I could be really successful and actually learn what I'm taught in class. For me, Northeast was just a better option to start with and then transfer to a university.
