Annual Scholarships
Annual scholarships are awarded to students on a yearly basis.
A minimum amount is required to establish a scholarship in your name. Contact the Northeast Community College Foundation to learn more.
Endowed Scholarships
Endowed scholarships create a permanent fund in which contributions are invested to ensure the scholarship retains its value in perpetuity. Scholarships are awarded from the interest accrued while the principal is never touched.
A minimum of $25,000 is required to establish an endowed scholarship, which will generate one $1,000 scholarship annually. Incorporating endowed scholarships into estate planning is a significant way to help students achieve their dreams and leave a legacy.
If you are interested in establishing a scholarship or contributing to an existing scholarship fund, please call (402) 844-7240 or email foundation@northeast.edu. Foundation staff will work directly with you to structure your scholarship agreement to include eligibility criteria that you would like for your fund.
If you are interested in applying for a scholarship, please visit the Scholarships page on our website or call our Financial Aid Office at (402) 844-7285.
Annual Scholarship Luncheon
Annually in April we gather students and donors to celebrate a gift that keeps on giving - the gift of fulfilling dreams - scholarships.
Northeast Impact
I graduated from Northeast Community College in 2022. I can pridefully say that because of scholarships I was able to accomplish being on the Honor list all four semesters of my college career.

With the help of scholarships and tuition assistance, I was able to focus on learning so that I could be the best nurse that I could be. It is amazing that there are donors that want to support the start, continuation, or advancement of students that need assistance.

Through generous donations I was able to live on campus and loved every minute of it. Living on campus pushed me to join clubs like Student Activities Council, participate in intramural sports, and have great times with people I wouldn’t have met living off campus. I’ve made some amazing memories, but I have also grown personally as well.

My story of success started here thanks to the generosity of the scholarship donors. I want to thank all Northeast instructors that make students feel welcome and give us the help we need. Special thanks to Tom Hoile and Dave Beaudette – two instructors in the Auto Body program.

Thank you to the scholarship donors and to the Financial Aid office for helping me find the tools to get started. The support for this dream coming true was nice to have.

I would like to thank the scholarship donors for the support over the last year. This help covered some of the expenses of college.

I was honored to be awarded scholarships. It means so much to me and my family that organizations and families help students with school. Any sort of financial aid is always so appreciated. I know all recipients including myself are very grateful. Scholarships have definitely helped my journey at Northeast.

Without the help of the College Access Scholarship, TRIO, and Northeast I would not have been blessed with the opportunity to further my education for a better future.
