Student Experience
Commuter Life
Balance learning with your life commitments.
As a working professional with a busy schedule, you already have a lot on your plate. With access to convenient learning options, you can still make earning a degree happen for you. As a commuter student, you have access to all of the same social and academic resources as a student that would live on campus. In fact, we have set aside space on all campuses specifically for commuter students. The lounges include vending machines, microwaves, and space to quietly relax and study between classes.
Many commuter students also join our student clubs and organizations, particularly the academic and pre-professional organizations. These organizations are dedicated to success in the classroom, internships, and career exploration. With dozens of student organizations on campus, there is sure to be something for you. Hit the gym, join a team or club, learn an instrument or try out for a musical; there are countless ways for you to get involved.
