Beginning Wine Making

Discover the winemaking process, wine styles, testing and adjusting the must and equipment needed for home winemaking. The winemaking process as it relates to a wine kit will be stressed. Topics such as racking, topping, sulfiting and sanitizing will be covered in-depth and a wine kit will be made. All major steps will be demonstrated including bottling and corking.

If you have a story that needs to be written, an online writing workshop is a great place to start. This course will help improve your writing skills and discover new ways to stretch your creative muscles. This course does not apply to a credit degree or program.

Braided Rugs

Turn your old sheets, tablecloths, and fabric scraps into an heirloom treasure as you learn to braid a beautiful rag rug. In this class, you will learn how to get the most yardage from your scraps to create a rug inspired by an old Swedish braiding technique. Please bring your own fabric, a measuring tape, sharp cloth-cutting scissors, a size H crochet hook, 2-inch size safety pins, and a clipboard. The first class is two hours and following classes are one hour each.

Charcuterie 101: Let’s Get on Board!

Elevate your next gathering with a beautiful meat and cheese platter that will get all the attention! Learn tips for quick-to-make grazing boards with cured meats and fresh cheeses, as well as recipes for some quick spreads. You will get to style your own board to take home at the end of class along with ingredients lists, tips for quantity needed, and simple optional items to add to your board.

There will be beginner and advanced project choices, so this class is great for all levels of crochet experience. You will choose one of the projects upon registration and receive a list of the materials you need to purchase before class begins. Register early to purchase your materials in advance.
