All The Details
Eligibility Guidelines
All currently enrolled Northeast students, faculty, and staff are eligible for Intramural sports and activities with a current Northeast photo I.D.
A player may not play on more than one team in a given sport. Any team permitting an ineligible player to participate automatically forfeits any contest in which that player takes part. Team captains are responsible for the establishment of the eligibility of players on their rosters.
Current members of Northeast intercollegiate athletics are not eligible for Intramural sports competition in their respective sports. If an individual is ineligible to compete in a varsity sport due to grades, etc., but does practice regularly with the team, he/she is ineligible for intramural sports.
Forfeits are detrimental to the entire program and to those participants who want to play. Competitors/ teams must be ready to play within five (5) minutes of scheduled time. If a competitor/team does not show during the grace period, a win by forfeit will be accredited to the opponent. Incomplete rosters or rosters turned in after the deadline will not be accepted.
Injury Disclaimer
Each participant assumes his/her own risk for any harm or injuries incurred while involved in the program.
Sportsmanship
All participants should demonstrate good sportsmanship during Intramural and other school activities. All participants are expected to comply with the rules governing the sports/activities. Fighting and abusive language during competition or directed towards officials or other participants will not be tolerated. Persons involved with poor sportsmanlike behavior will be ejected. A participant's second eviction will prohibit him or her from participation the remainder of the semester determined by the Intramural Coordinator.
