Dr. Davood Momeni

Davood Momeni is a prominent physicist with over two decades of academic and research experience. He earned his Bachelor's in Physics in 2002, Master's in 2004, and PhD in 2009 from the University of Tehran.
Dr. Momeni began his career as a Lecturer in 2004, followed by an Assistant Professorship at Kharazmi University (2011-2012). He then served as a Visiting Professor at Eurasian National University in Kazakhstan from 2012 to 2017. In 2017, he became an Associate Professor at Sultan Qaboos University, Oman, where he remained until 2022.
Since 2022, Dr. Momeni has held positions as an Adjunct Professor at Marymount University and a Professor of Physics at Northern Virginia Community College. He also spent a year teaching physics full-time in Fairfax County, VA.
An accomplished researcher with over 120 publications, Dr. Momeni was recognized in 2024 as one of the top 2% of scientists worldwide by Stanford University and Scopus. His contributions continue to shape both education and the field of physics.
