Electro Mechanical Technician 3 Day Shift - Columbus, NE
- FLEXcon in Columbus, NE is seeking an early in career candidate that has completed their Electromechanical Certification or Degree to learn how to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, install, and upgrade electrical and mechanical equipment, components, tools, and machinery. This role is a 3 day shift, Friday through Sunday, 6 a.m. - 6 p.m. It is a great opportunity to learn and grow your electromechanical skills and join FLEXcon's journey. Responsibilities Have you focused your education on electrical principles, circuitry, electrical controls, print reading, programming, mechanical systems, and other components related to electromechanical repair? Do have a frame of reference with regards to electronics programs, like industrial control devices, DC and AC motors and control circuits, transformers, analog and digital transducers, industrial process control and PLCs? Have you had the ability to learn from concentrated classroom instruction and hands-on learning? Do you enjoy reading and working from blueprints, drawings, and schematics to complete tasks?
- Certificate or degree in Electromechanical study. Hands on experience in class setting or internship utilizing electromechanical skill set. Strong interest in asset reliability and continuous improvement. Willingness to work and learn from Maintenance and Operations team members to achieve critical objectives Effective interfacing with internal leadership, external vendors/contractors, and other team members Participate in the company safety program and maintain clean and organized work areas. Will train selected candidate on the day shift and then transfer to Friday - Sunday shift when fully trained. Qualified candidates must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.
