Maintenance Technician - Norfolk

Job Description:

Monitor, repair, and maintain conveyance, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and soybean processing equipment. Perform welding, torch, and plasma cutting in order to complete various repairs. Complete daily paperwork including equipment inspection and location parts for other departments. Troubleshoot electrical problems and complete repairs when appropriate. Maintain plant sanitation standards. All other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent. Ability to read and understand computer printouts and equipment specifications. Skilled in using hand tools and operating a forklift, bobcat, and end-loader. Knowledge of the general industry regulations and practices. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong problem solving and analytical thinking skills along with the ability to organize, prioritize, and handle multiple work assignments.
