Admissions
Transfer Applicants
Applying to Northeast is simple and free! If you have not attended Northeast previously and would like to take credit classes or pursue a degree then follow these steps.
Application Steps
Submit an Application to the Admission's Office.
Send us your High School Transcripts to the Admissions Office (address below).
Send us your Previous College Transcripts to Registrar's Office (address below).
Include any foreign college transcripts.
Submit your ACT or SAT scores to Admission's Office (address below).
If you don't have ACT or SAT scores, you need to contact the Testing Center to schedule a MAP/Accuplacer test.
Test scores are necessary for Mandatory Placement, which helps ensure that you meet the basic skill levels necessary to participate in a college English or Math course.
Check if your program is a Selective Admissions Program. These programs have additional admissions requirements.
Schedule your New Student Orientation Session.
When you receive your welcome letter you'll receive information about your Orientation Session. If you are taking six credit hours or more or seeking a degree you are required to participate in an Orientation before registering for classes. As a part of your orientation you will register for your classes.
How do I find out what transfers into Northeast or to another college?
If you have attended another institution and are transferring credit hours to Northeast, please visit our Transfer Guide to determine which courses are equivalent for your particular degree or schedule an appointment, chat or email with an advisor.
