American Legion Auxiliary, Unit 16, Past President's Nursing Scholarship for Freshmen and Sophomores

Qualifications:

  1. Must be a current Northeast student enrolling in Practical or Associate Degree Nursing
  2. Must have a 2.0 cumulative GPA

Barbara Lee Nielsen Nursing Memorial Scholarship

Qualifications:

  1. Must be a full time Practical Nursing or Associate Degree Nursing Student (2nd preference is part-time)
  2. Must be a resident of Nebraska
  3. Must have a GPA of 2.0
  4. Must have financial need

Dallas & Lorraine Hoff Memorial Scholarship

Qualifications:

  1. Must be enrolled in a Nursing program of study
  2. Preference given to non-traditional students or single parent
  3. Must be enrolled in at least 6 credits
  4. Must have a 2.0 GPA or higher

Donald Liedman and Dorrine Liedman Nursing Scholarship for Freshman and Sophomores

Qualifications:

  1. Must be enrolled in a nursing degree program
  2. Must show financial need
  3. Must have a 2.0 GPA or higher
  4. Must be enrolled in at least 6 credits
  5. First Preference to non-traditional students.
  6. Preference given to students who have completed at least one semester of study in the nursing program.

Donna and John Goossen Memorial for Freshmen and Sophomores

Qualifications:

  1. Must have a GPA of 3.0 or above and show academic promise
  2. Must be enrolled full-time in the associate degree nursing or practical nursing program
  3. Must show financial need

Eleanor Fuhrman Endowed Nursing for Freshmen and Sophomores

Qualifications:

  1. Must be a regularly enrolled student who is actively pursuing a degree in nursing
  2. Must show financial need

Elgin Bargain Box Nursing Scholarship

Qualifications:

  1. Must be enrolled at least part time in the PN or ADN programs.
  2. Must have a 2.0 or higher GPA.

Elkhorn Valley Bank Endowed Nursing for Freshmen and Sophomores

Qualifications:

  1. Must be an Associate Degree Nursing or Practical Nursing major
  2. Must show financial need

First National Bank Endowed Nursing for Freshmen and Sophomores

Qualifications:

  1. Must be enrolled in a Nursing program of study

Jagmohan Desai and Family Endowed Scholarship for Freshmen and Sophomores

Qualifications:

  1. Must be enrolled in a health related program of study
  2. Must be at least Half Time
  3. Must have a GPA of 2.0 or higher

James F. Manning and Rosemarie Weller Manning Memorial Scholarship for Freshmen and Sophomores

Qualifications:

  1. Must be enrolled in a Nursing program or Life Sciences program of study
  2. Must show financial need

Lora J. Rohrich Memorial Scholarship

Qualifications:

  1. Must be enrolled in a Nursing Program
  2. Must have financial need.
  3. Must be enrolled in at least six credit hours.
  4. Must have a GPA of 2.0 or higher.

Mahlon B. Kohler Scholarship

Qualifications:

  1. Must be enrolled in Nursing or Optometry program.
  2. Must be enrolled in at least 6 credits
  3. Must have a GPA of 2.0 or higher

Missionary Benedictine Sisters Scholarship

Qualifications:

  1. Preference give to students in a nursing program of study, 2nd to any program
  2. Must be a resident of NE or surrounding states
  3. Must be a single parent
  4. Must show financial need
  5. Must be enrolled in at least 6 credits

Northeast Nebraska Medical Association Alliance for Freshmen and Sophomores

Qualifications:

  1. Must be full-time in a nursing program
  2. Scholastic ability is considered
  3. Must show financial need

S. Johnson Scholarship

Qualifications:

  1. Must have a GPA of 2.0 or higher.
  2. Must be sophomore enrolled in at least 6 credit hours.
  3. First preference given to students enrolled in a nursing program. Second preference given to students enrolled in the Physical Therapist Assistant program.

Sharon Grunke Memorial Nursing for Freshmen and Sophomores

Qualifications:

  1. Must be affiliated with Norfolk Schools in Malawi
  2. Must be enrolled in a nursing program of study
  3. Must have a GPA of at least 3.0
  4. Must be enrolled in at least 6 credits

The Craig M. and Lori A. Cook Scholarship for Freshmen and Sophomores

Qualifications:

  1. Must be enrolled in a nursing program of study or a vocational program of study
  2. Must have a GPA of 2.5
  3. First preference is students from Northeast’s 20-county service area; Second preference is students from Nebraska
  4. Must be attending at least at half time status

West Holt Medical Services Foundation Scholarship

Qualifications:

  1. Must be enrolled at least part time in one of the following programs: Nursing, HIMS, PT, PTA, Surgical Tech, or Radiologic Tech.
  2. Must be a Nebraska resident of Holt, Rock, or Boyd county.
  3. Must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
