Kevin Rahfeldt Broadcasting for Freshmen and Sophomores

Qualifications:

1. Must be a broadcast major
2. Must have a minimum 3.0 GPA
3. First choice to a resident of Northeast’s 20-county service area
4. Preference given to students who have demonstrated participation in volunteer work during the junior or senior year of high school
5. The recipient is encouraged (but not required) to spend 40 hours of volunteer time during the fall term of the scholarship award year at a commercial radio station or TV station within the Northeast 20-county service
6. Must show financial need
7. Must be enrolled in at least 6 credits

Robert E. Thomas Broadcasting for Sophomores

Qualifications:

1. Must have successfully completed a minimum of two semesters in broadcasting
2. Must be committed to completing an associate degree in the broadcasting program
3. Must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
4. Must show financial need
