CHS Foundation Scholarship

Qualifications:

  1. Must be majoring in an ag program or ag-related STEM undergraduate program
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident of the U.S.
  3. Must demonstrate academic aptitude in course work

Chuck M. Pohlman Memorial Scholarship for Freshmen and Sophomores

Qualifications:

  1. Must be enrolled in an agriculture program of study
  2. Must have and maintain a 2.0 GPA

Commercial State Bank of Wausa for Freshmen

Qualifications:

  1. Must be a graduating senior from Wausa High School who will be full time in agribusiness at Northeast
  2. Must rank in upper half of graduating class
  3. Must show financial need

Donald Liedman & Dorrine DeHaven Liedman Agriculture Scholarship for Freshmen and Sophomores

Qualifications:

  1. Must be enrolled in any agricultural degree program
  2. Awarded for the spring term
  3. Must show financial need

Emrich Memorial/COE Cattle Co. for 2nd Semester Freshmen and Sophomores

Qualifications:

  1. Must be successfully completing one semester of study in animal science with preference given to those planning to specialize with cattle
  2. Must have a 3.0 GPA
  3. Must be a Nebraska resident
  4. Financial need is considered

Farm Credit Services of America for Sophomores

Qualifications:

  1. Must be a full time sophomore pursuing a degree in agriculture
  2. Must be 18-22 years old
  3. Must be a resident of Nebraska, Iowa, South Dakota, or Wyoming
  4. Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0
  5. Preference given to those who intend to return to the farm/ranch or farm related job in a rural community

Gerald & Joyce Petersen Family for Freshmen and Sophomores

Qualifications:

  1. Must be enrolled full time
  2. First preference given to students from Pierce County who are majoring in Mechanized Agriculture/Second preference given to students located in Northeast's 20-county service area majoring in any agriculture program
  3. Must have a minimum 2.5 GPA
  4. Must show financial need

Horticulture-Agribusiness Scholarship

Qualifications:

  1. Must be enrolled in agribusiness
  2. Preference given to residents of Northeast's 20-county service area
  3. Must show financial need

Hyacinth Harsch Memorial for Freshmen and Sophomores

Qualifications:

  1. Must be a resident of Stanton or Madison County
  2. Must be enrolled in an agriculture program

Lawrence & Hilda Jochens Agriculture Memorial Scholarship for Freshmen and Sophomores

Qualifications:

  1. Must be pursuing a degree in Diversified Ag
  2. First preference given to Wayne County students/Second preference given to Nebraska residents
  3. Must have a 2.0 GPA
  4. Must show financial need

Mark Koehler Memorial for Freshmen

Qualifications:

  1. Must be enrolled in any program in the agriculture division
  2. Must have a 2.5 GPA or higher
  3. Must be a resident of Nebraska
  4. Must show financial need

Mark Mullins Fishing Tournament for Freshmen and Sophomores

Qualifications:

  1. Must be a full-time student in Agriculture Transfer and/or a Biology Transfer with first preference to Wildlife Management, Games and Parks; or Agronomy
  2. Must be a Nebraska resident
  3. Must show financial need

Neal and Rose Pohlman for Sophomores

Qualifications:

  1. Must have successfully completed the Freshman year in an agriculture program of study
  2. Financial need and club involvement are considered

Nebraska Pork Producers Scholarship for Freshmen and Sophomores

Qualifications:

  1. Must be pursuing a degree full time in Agriculture - Animal Science
  2. Must be enrolled full-time
  3. Preference given to applicants with an interest in swine production (i.e., have shown hogs, worked for a hog producer, raised hogs, etc.)
  4. Must show financial need

Northeast Nebraska AG Community Scholarship

Qualifications:

  1. Must be enrolled in an agricultural program of study
  2. Must be a spring high school graduate
  3. Must have and maintain a 2.0 GPA
  4. Must be a resident of Madison, Wayne, Stanton, Pierce, Antelope, Boone or northern Platte counties in Nebraska

Northeast Nebraska Public Power District Scholarship for Sophomores

Qualifications:

  1. Must be a sophomore enrolled in utility line, agriculture, electrical or health programs of study
  2. Must be a resident of Pierce, Thurston, Dixon, Dakota or Wayne counties
  3. Must have a 3.0 GPA

Northeast Nebraska Toy Farmers for Freshmen and Sophomores

Qualifications:

  1. Must be enrolled in an agriculture program of study

Scott Haselhorst Memorial Scholarship for Freshmen or Sophomores

Qualifications:

  1. First preference is full-time enrollment in the HVAC program; Second preference is full-time enrollment in the ELRC program; Third preference is full-time enrollment in the Diversified Ag program
  2. First preference: Graduate of Laurel-Concord-Coleridge High School, or Randolph High School; Second preference: Graduate of Hartington Public or Hartington Cedar Catholic High Schools
