Canvas at Northeast has innovative features that will make your class work easier! Some of the most exciting features include a mobile app, ways to communicate with your instructor, "what-if" grades, and overall ease of use.

Below is a video that will introduce you to features within Canvas at Northeast.

How to Access Your Courses

New users

to access your Canvas at Northeast course(s), follow these steps:

  1. Go to https://myapps.northeast.edu
  2. If you have not done so already, click on the "New Users Start Here" link.
    (If you are already taking classes at Northeast, skip down to step 9 and simply log into the system.)
  3. Enter your information (first name, last name, college-wide ID, birth date)
  4. Review and accept the "Acceptable Use Procedures"
  5. Enter your information to your secret questions
  6. Enter your cell phone and/or email address
  7. Confirm the validation codes if you entered your email or cell number
  8. Create a new password
  9. You will then be directed to log back into the system with your user name and the password you just set up
  10. Once you have logged in, click the Canvas button

Returning users

to access Canvas at Northeast, follow these steps:

  1. Go to https://myapps.northeast.edu
  2. Enter your user name and password
  3. Once you have logged in, click the Canvas button
