Hawkfest Honor Band & Choir

A performance by both the Hawkfest honor band and honor choir will be held on Monday, October 7, at 5:30 pm, in the Lifelong Learning Center on Northeast's Norfolk campus. It is free and open to the public.

Concert Repertoire & Information

Click on the Program Information link and simply print the music that you need for your students to practice and make this a wonderfully successful festival. A list of the participating students and the parts they will play/sing for the festival are also included. In some cases, the students may be switching parts. Please read carefully.

Concert attire: Concert Black (black slacks and black shirt) This is a concert situation we want people to dress appropriately. Questions? Please feel free to contact Kevin McLouth: kevinm@northeast.edu

8:00 Check in Rehearsal starts at 8:30.

DIRECTORS please sign in your students and turn over checks if they have not been sent in already. Students can then find their seats for the festival. Check in will take place in the Cox Activities Center.

Parking - please park your school vehicles in the parking lot west of the LLC (see the map).

All HAWKFEST participants will be assessed a $20.00 fee with checks made out to Northeast Community College.

To aid our record keeping and ensure that you are credited, please put HAWKFEST in the memo line and include your bill for the event.

Northeast will be awarding two $1000.00 scholarships to two seniors. One in the choir and one in the band. They will be redeemed when the students attend Northeast Community College.

Lunch will be provided to all participants and directors by the college.
