HeartCode RQI Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

HeartCode RQI ACLS is a self-directed hybrid course (part online and in-person), comprehensive eLearning program that uses adaptive learning technology to allow learners to acquire and demonstrate Advanced Cardiac Life Support skills using a personalized learning path that adapts in real time to a learner’s performance. The program is designed for healthcare professionals who need Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification and is for renewal or initial ACLS certification. This format will allow for more flexibility in scheduling than traditional ACLS courses. Skills check sessions are available daily by appointment (Monday - Friday) to complete the hands-on session. Utilizing a variety of eLearning assets such as dramatizations, Cognitive Assessment Activities, illustrations, knowledge checks and interactive activities, this program teaches ACLS knowledge and skills. This method of learning provides training consistency and adaptability to different learning styles. Participants can work at their own pace applying their knowledge to real-time decision making. Debriefings and coaching are provided immediately after each knowledge check and each Cognitive Assessment Activity. HeartCode RQI ACLS consists of a cognitive portion that is completed online (Included in price of class) and separate psychomotor skills assessment using voice assisted manikins (VAM) with real-time audio and visual feedback to earn a valid AHA ACLS Provider eCard. CME credit is also available after completion of course.

HeartCode RQI Basic Life Support (BLS) is a self-directed hybrid course (part online and in-person), comprehensive eLearning program that uses adaptive learning technology to allow learners to acquire and demonstrate Basic Life Support skills using a personalized learning path that adapts in real time to a learner’s performance. The program is designed for healthcare professionals who need Basic Life Support Certification and is for renewal or initial BLS certification. This format will allow for more flexibility in scheduling than traditional BLS courses. Skills check sessions are available daily by appointment (Monday - Friday) to complete the hands-on session. Utilizing a variety of eLearning assets such as case-based scenarios, interactive activities and videos, this course teaches the concepts of both single-rescuer and team basic life support. This method of learning provides training consistency and adaptability to different learning styles. Participants can work at their own pace applying their knowledge to real-time decision making. Debriefings and coaching are provided immediately after each knowledge check and each Cognitive Assessment Activity.
