Raspberry Pi Karaoke Camp
Two Days of Hands-On Activities

Raspberry Pi and karaoke creates the perfect jam!
Get ready for
this remix and join us for a two-day camp full of Raspberry Pi and karaoke.
What is Raspberry Pi?
A Raspberry Pi is a small, single board computer that you can use to build anything - even a karaoke machine! Campers will build a karaoke machine from scratch utilizing the composite video and audio outputs of the Raspberry Pi along with a web-based application that will play karaoke files. You will also be able to control the machine remotely from a mobile device. The Information Technology Department will be teaming up with the Drafting program to design a 3D printed case to house the equipment. You will get to see how the case was designed and 3D printed.
This two-day camp includes hands-on activities to build skills and knowledge used in every career level of information technology. Learn how to solder electrical connections, how to design a part to be 3D printed and how to write code all while having fun working on a project from start to finish.
