About 100 Students from 20 Schools Chosen for HAWKFEST

NORFOLK, Neb. – Students from 20 schools will be coming to Northeast Community College to take part in HAWKFEST next week.


HAWKFEST is an annual Honor Band and Honor Choir Festival hosted by the Northeast Music Department. It will take place on Monday, Oct. 7, with students practicing together during the day. The day culminates with a concert at 5:30 p.m. in the Lifelong Learning Center.

The concert is free and open to the public. More than 60 students were selected to be a part of the honor choir while the honor band will be comprised of 35 students.

The following students have been chosen.
