NORFOLK, Neb. – The Northeast Community College Music Department will be opening its concert season with the annual fall concert.
The concert will take place Sunday, Oct. 6, at 2 p.m. in Lifelong Learning Center on the Norfolk campus.
With Kevin McLouth as director, the Northeast/Community Concert Band will be performing “An American Fanfare” by Rick Kirby, a Sousa March, and “Fairest of the Renaissance Faire” by Erika Svanoe.
Vocal selections, directed by Margaret Schultz, will include a traditional Appalachian folk hymn (“Down to the River to Pray”) and an English folk song (“Harvest Moon”), among others.
The concert is free and open to the public.
