Norfolk School Board Candidates Share Views at Forum Hosted by Northeast

NORFOLK, Neb. – Northeast Community College hosted the first of four political forums on Monday evening at the Lifelong Learning Center.


The Norfolk Daily News and Newstalk WJAG are presenting the forums, with the first one covering the candidates for the Norfolk School Board. The events are moderated by Norfolk Daily News Editor Emeritus Kent Warneke.

Northeast students are assisting by recording the forums, which are being livestreamed.

 The remaining forums at the Lifelong Learning Center will be Thursday, Sept. 19, 5 to 8 p.m. with candidates for Norfolk City Council; Monday, Sept. 23, 5 to 6:30 p.m. candidates for Legislative District 19; 6:30 to 8 p.m. - Norfolk Mayoral Candidates; Monday, Sept. 30, 5 to 6:30 p.m., First Congressional District candidates.
