Holiday schedule, intersession, in-service, and spring registration continues at Northeast

NORFOLK, Neb. – Northeast Community College in Norfolk and its extended campuses in O’Neill, South Sioux City and West Point will be closed over the holidays.

Northeast offices will be closed from Friday, Dec. 22, at 2 p.m., through Monday, Jan. 1. College office operations will resume business on Tuesday, Jan. 2, at 8 a.m. The College is also offering an Intersession, which allows students the opportunity to add additional credits between the fall and spring semesters. It begins Dec. 18 and concludes Jan. 5. Courses, which are primarily online during Intersession, will not pause for the holiday break.

Northeast offices will also be closed a portion of Thursday, Jan. 4, so all faculty and staff may attend Spring In-Service sessions. College offices in Norfolk, O’Neill, South Sioux City and West Point will be closed from 8 a.m.-1 p.m.

Meanwhile, registration for Spring 2024 classes at Northeast Community College remains open through the first day of classes on Mon. Jan. 8. Returning students may register online through their My Northeast account, or call (402) 844-7719 to schedule an appointment with their advisor.

New students at Northeast Community College will be contacted by the Admissions & Registration Office with information regarding registration prior to the first day of classes. In addition, new students are reminded that their official placement test scores must be on file at Northeast before registration. If a student has not taken a MAP or ACT test, they are encouraged to contact the Northeast Testing Center at (402) 844-7281 to schedule an appointment to complete the test before registration.
