NORFOLK, Neb. – The merry bells were ringing, and members of the Northeast Community College Concert Choir were singing.
Northeast Nebraskans attending the annual Holiday Concert on Sunday, Dec. 10, were treated to some festive music that is bound to help bring happy holidays to them – or at minimum, help them to catch some holiday spirit.
All the fun took place at the Lifelong Learning Center. The Concert Choir, Community/College Concert Band and the Band and Choir combined were among the performers.
The vocal director was Margaret Schultz, with accompanist Karl Henkel. The band performed under the direction of Kevin McLouth. There also was a sing-along, with a medley of holiday tunes.
So hoop-de-do, and dickory dock. And don’t forget, to hang up your sock.
