Fourteen Northeast student-athletes named to CSC academic all-district teams

GREENWOOD, Ind. – Fourteen Northeast Community College student-athletes have been named to Academic All-District Teams by College Sports Communicators (CSC).

To be considered for the recognition, nominations must reflect the student-athlete has played as a starter or as an important reserve, maintain at a 3.50 cumulative or higher GPA, participate in at least 50% of their team’s games/contests, and have a presence on a college roster in their respective sport for at least two years. 

The following student-athletes earned the distinction of Academic All-District Teams by CSC:

Baseball

Christian Carew, Parker, Colo.; Harrison Taubert, Casper, Wyo.; Rusty Wortman, Gretna; Kaden Young, Columbus.

Golf

Rockney Peck, Wisner, Kody Sander, Lincoln.

Men’s Basketball 

Emaniel Alexandre, Nassau, Bahamas

Women’s Soccer

Kyler Bowman, Topeka, Kan.; Erica Derby, Keenesburg, Colo.; Romeni Gurmendi, Boulder, Colo.; Taryn O’Brien, Lakewood, Colo.; and Carolin Stahlmann, Hamburg, Germany.

Softball 

Abby Balfour, Nebraska City, Alexis Folks, Arvada, Colo
