NORFOLK, Neb. - The parents of Northeast Community College graduate Luke Henn, Elgin, snap of photo of their son with Dr. Leah Barrett, college president, in the Cox Activities Center gymnasium Tuesday morning.
Henn, who graduated with an Associate of Applied Science Degree – Agriculture, was one of approximately 115 graduates who were not able to walk across the stage during the College’s 50th Commencement on Friday when a tornado warning was issued midway through the ceremony. Barrett invited graduates back to campus on Tuesday to personally receive their diploma.
