Winter Concert held at Northeast

NORFOLK, Neb. – The temperature was a record 66 degrees outside as Northeast Community College held its annual Winter Concert recently.

The College/Community Concert Band and a percussion ensemble were joined by the Concert Choir for performances in the Lifelong Learning Center on the Norfolk campus. The band and ensemble are led by Kevin McLouth, instrumental music instructor/director of instrumental activities at Northeast. Margaret Schultz, music instructor and vocal director, is the director of the Northeast Concert Choir. Linda Boullion was the accompanist.

Several Northeast students participate in both the Community/College Concert Band and Concert Choir.

In addition to music business, education and performance, other members are enrolled in programs such as agri-business, animal science, art education, audio recording technology, auto body technology, behavioral science, biology, broadcasting, building construction, business administration, early childhood education, elementary and secondary education, emergency medical technician, general and global studies, graphic design, information technology, nursing, precision agriculture, pre-professional medicine, social work, utility line, and veterinary technology
