To Write "Love" on Her Arms

NORFOLK, Neb. - Northeast Community College students Alissa Gubbels, Stuart, (left) Hannah Stahl, Potter, Jadyn Weber, Norfolk, and Dakota Clement, Norfolk, have the word “Love” written on their arms as part of the “To Write Love on Her Arms” (TWLOHA) project recently.

TWLOHA is a national movement dedicated to presenting hope and finding help for people struggling with depression, self-injury and thoughts of suicide. Representatives of Midtown Health Center and Bright Horizons were also on hand distributing information. Clement, Gubbels, Stahl, and Weber were among members of the Northeast Student Activities Council participating in the event held in the College’s Hawks Point on the Norfolk campus. Approximately 225 Northeast students participate.
