Over 1,600 attend 18th annual Northeast Community College Spooktacular

NORFOLK, Neb. - A child gets a high-five from Ryen Haines, of Broken Bow, at the Criminal Justice Club’s Pirate Ring Toss game during Northeast Community College’s 18th annual Spook-tacular children’s carnival Wednesday evening.

Over 1,600 people attended this year’s event at the College’s Chuck M. Pohlman Agriculture Complex. Spook-tacular is sponsored by the college’s Student Ambassadors and Student Activities Council. Sixteen student clubs hosted booths with over 30 games, as well as prizes, candy, a haunted house, and other activities to entertain children. Admission was free, but games required tickets, which could be purchased at the price of four for $1. All proceeds go to student organizations.
