PATCH Health Fair marks 30th anniversary at Northeast

NORFOLK, Neb. - Lisa Belz, HELP grant career coach/recruiter at Northeast Community College (left), visits with an attendee of the PATCH (Planned Approach to Community Health) Health Fair at the college’s booth on Friday.

The event, held in the Cox Activities Center on the Northeast campus in Norfolk, offered free and low-cost screenings as well as complete blood profiles at a reduced cost. There were over 50 exhibits featuring healthy living choices for the entire family, educational sessions, including one of COVID vaccines, and the opportunity to interact with health care providers throughout the area. The new North Fork Area Transit bus was also on location. This year marked the health fair’s 30th anniversary.
