CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Forty-seven Northeast Community College student-athletes have been named to All-Academic honor teams by the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA). In addition, each Northeast athletic team earned NJCAA All-Academic Team honors for maintaining a 3.0 GPA or higher.
Student-athletes are eligible to earn academic honors by achieving an overall GPA (grade point average) of 3.60 or higher for the 2019-20 academic year. To be named to the NJCAA All Academic First Team, the student-athlete must have earned a 4.0 GPA. To be named to the All-Academic Second Team, the student-athlete must have earned a 3.80-3.99 GPA while the requirement to be named to the All-Academic Third Team is a GPA of 3.60-3.79.
