NORFOLK, Neb. - The Northeast Community College women’s soccer team left Norfolk at 4 a.m. Tuesday for the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division II National Tournament to be held June 3-8 at the Blanchard Woods Park in Evans, Ga.
The Hawks qualified by defeating Hawkeye Community College to win the Region XI Championship.
Northeast opens pool play in the national tournament against Heartland Community College (Ill.) on Fri., June 4, at 6:30 p.m. (CDT) and will then face Howard Community College (Md.) on Sat. June 5, at 6:30 p.m. (CDT).
All games will be broadcast on the NJCAA Network at njcaa.org/network.
