NORFOLK, Neb. - Northeast Community College student Josh Escamilla, David City, writes the word “Love” on the arm of his brother, Justin, as part of the “To Write Love on Her Arms” (TWLOHA) project recently.
TWLOHA is a national movement dedicated to presenting hope and finding help for people struggling with depression, self-injury and thoughts of suicide. Representatives of the Nebraska Strong Recovery Project were also on hand distributing information. The Escamillas were among members of the Northeast Student Activities Council participating in the event held recently in the College’s Hawks Point on the Norfolk campus.
