NORFOLK, Neb. - The Northeast Community College Jazz Machine, under the direction of Kevin McLouth (third from right) performs, A Band’s Gotta Do What a Band’s Gotta Do – a most entirely appropriate selection as it rehearses outdoors on a sunny afternoon recently just outside the Cox Activities Center on the Norfolk campus.
Like other programs at the College this fall, music department instructors are thinking outside the box to hold classes and rehearsals during the COVID 19 pandemic. The Northeast Men’s and Women’s Choirs have also been rehearsing outdoors in the nearby Paradise Courtyard.
