Briggs & Barrett co-founder speaks to Northeast students

NORFOLK, NE - Melissa West, co-founder of the Briggs & Barrett Project, speaks to Early Childhood Education students and their instructor, Lisa Guenther, at Northeast Community College recently.

West, who lost her son to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) in January 2018, spoke of how she and Allison Uecker, who also lost a son to SIDS, formed the project to develop ways to educate the public on the condition and ways to help prevent it.
