Omaha Marian High School took Class A team honors. Millard West was second followed by Omaha Westside. Papillion-La Vista, Elkhorn, Millard North, Gretna and Omaha Central round out the top eight.
Columbus Scotus won Class B with Yutan as runner-up. Other teams finishing in the top eight include Sandy Creek, Mt. Michael Benedictine, Fairbury, Southern Valley, Dorchester and Wood River.
Individual awards were presented in several categories ranging from advertising to editorial cartooning to news writing to yearbook. Results are available on the NSAA website at www.nsaahome.org/journalism.

PHOTO CUTLINE – 2018 State Journalism
Students compete in the Photo/Artistic Illustration category during the 2017 Nebraska State Journalism Championships held at Northeast Community College in Norfolk. The one-day event was sponsored by the Nebraska Schools Activities Association, the Norfolk Area Sports Council and Northeast Community College.
