Miller to assume men's soccer coaching duties

NORFOLK, NE – Chad Miller, women’s head soccer coach at Northeast Community College, will be leading the men’s soccer program in the interim. He succeeds Doug Seigle, who is no longer with the College.

Amanda Nipp, vice president of student services, said Miller will serve as head coach of both women’s and men’s soccer teams on a short-term basis.

“I am grateful for Chad’s willingness to step up and take on additional responsibilities this season,” Nipp said.

Miller served as Northeast’s men’s soccer coach when the sport was introduced at the College in 2015. He became Northeast’s women’s head soccer coach in 2016.

Both teams will be in action this Saturday as they travel to Spencer, IA, to face Iowa Lakes Community College. The men play at 2 p.m., with the women to follow at 4 p.m.
