Most careers in the social sciences require a bachelor’s degree. You may complete the first two years of your education at Northeast and then transfer to a four-year college to complete a bachelor’s degree. Classes will easily transfer to a four-year college or university. Statistics have shown that Northeast students in the Social Science program have done as well as or better than students who began their studies at four-year colleges in Nebraska.
You'll develop a broad perspective in the human condition, allowing you to develop an awareness of the nature of human beings in social, political, historical, and individual contexts. You'll be prepared to move in any number of chosen directions.
