Degrees and Programs
The Health, Physical Education, and Recreation program is designed to provide you with the basic knowledge, skills, and strategies for career opportunities in health, human performance and wellness, physical education, athletic training, recreation, coaching, and athletics. You may choose to transfer your credits and complete a bachelor’s degree at a four-year college or university.
You'll gain basic knowledge about good health, wellness, physical activity, athletic training, recreation, coaching, and athletics. You'll learn by a combination of classroom and hands-on training techniques. We offer a collegiate basketball court, weight room, and cardio machines. There are also many intramural sports to participate in.

You'll be able to choose from a variety of fields with this educational background. Some careers may include, PE Teacher, Athletic Trainer, Coach, or Health and Wellness Coordinator.
