At Northeast Community College, the Business program is built to meet you where you are and take you where you want to go. The Business program also incorporates CliftonStrengths to help students discover and develop their unique talents for personal and professional growth. We offer two flexible options: an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree for comprehensive business training, and a Diploma program ideal for working adults or those looking to enter the workforce quickly.
- The Business AAS degree provides in-depth instruction in management, marketing, customer service, sales, and other core business areas. Students complete general education courses, a solid business core, and approved electives to customize their education. Real-world experience is built into the program through a cooperative internship, giving students valuable on-the-job training. To further strengthen their skill set, students can add specialized certificates in areas like Accounting, Administrative Professional, Computer Application Specialist, or Entrepreneurship.
- The Business Diploma is designed for those seeking a quicker, focused pathway into business careers. It's a great fit for working adults who want to sharpen their understanding of key business concepts, including marketing, salesmanship, and management. Plus, all coursework earned in the Diploma program fully applies toward the Business AAS or an Associate of Arts (AA) degree, offering a seamless transition for continued education.
