Job Description:

AC&R Specialists is a mechanical contractor specializing in the design and construction of industrial ammonia refrigeration systems throughout the United States. We are searching for a talented professional to fill a Design Drafter position in our drafting department. The Design Drafter plays an integral role on the design team and is responsible for designing and drawing piping and equipment plans for complex projects of all sizes. Job Responsibilities: • Create detailed piping & equipment layouts, details, schematics, and schedules using AutoCAD. • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, field employees, and clients to develop detailed construction plan sets. • Provide design and documentation support throughout the design phases of the project. • Limited travel to job sites may be required to document field conditions or to complete as-built drawings.

Job Requirements

• Familiarity with 3D modeling within AutoCAD. • Quality minded and detail oriented. • Driver’s license.
