Feeding Supervisor - Broken Bow, NE

We are seeking a driven, responsible individual to oversee the day to day feeding operations at our South Feedlot in Broken Bow, Nebraska. This person will be responsible for: Supporting/driving the overall safety strategy of the company. Exemplifying safety expectations. Providing overall leadership of the Feeding area and identifying methods of optimizing safety, quality, and productivity. Activities include, but are not limited to: Ensuring the daily operations in feed delivery are conducted accurately and consistently; Evaluating daily feeding reports (Bunk Conditions, DM’s, DMI’s, TPH, etc.), while providing feedback team and leadership. Calling bunks, as needed. Working closely with the company nutritionist to drive optimum cattle performance. Monitoring and maintaining reports and information flow to computers by inputting records in accordance with FDA and QA to ensure quality production. Assist with harvest including the construction and management of ingredient piles and quality control of feedstuffs.

Job Requirements

Commitment to safety and quality culture. Previous feeding and/or mill experience is beneficial Previous leadership experience. Exceptional ability to use analytical techniques for problem solving, coordination, and decision making. Driven, organized, action-oriented, analytical, and ability to multi-task. Individual must be able to work in adverse weather conditions, if needed. Must have valid driver's license. Exerting 50-100 pounds of force occasionally; 25-50 pounds of force frequently; 10-20 pounds of force constantly. Standing and sitting frequently; walking, carrying, and lifting/lowering, pushing/pulling, bending, twisting, climbing, crawling, stairs, reaching/handling/grasping, and kneeling/crouching occasionally.
