Job Description:

· Perform therapeutic procedures by administering exercises, manual therapy, modalities; instructing, encouraging, and assisting patients in performing physical activities, ambulatory functional activities, and daily-living activities; and in using supportive devices, such as crutches, canes, and prostheses. · Contribute and encourage a positive treatment environment to aid in effectiveness by identifying patient care issues; providing information to patients; recommending options and courses of action; implementing physical therapy directives, and communicating back to the Physical Therapist. · Assess patient health by interviewing patients; performing physical assessments; obtaining, updating, and studying therapy histories. · Assess changes in patient status/situation, adjusting treatments and consulting with Physical Therapists. · Document patient care services along with performance of treatment billing via EMR. · Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
