Job Description:

This position performs production within prescribed codes, and according to prescribed procedures, specifications, and drawings. -Must complete Welder Training Program. -Must be able to pass and certify – Utility 2G certification welding tests. Job Duties -GMAW or Metal Core Welding experience -Ability to read blueprints required -Basic Math skills required -Teammate Mentality -Learn from others Work Schedule -Part-time flexibility for students (22-30 hours/weekly) -Full-time (40+ hours/weekly) Benefits *Full-time apprentices are immediately eligible for company benefits starting the first of the month following the date of hire* -Employer paid tuition for the apprenticeship -Uniform allowance -Medical and supplemental insurance -Employee incentive programs -401K with employer matching -PTO and paid holidays Apprentices start at $18-$19/hour Advancement -Apprentices who complete required classroom training (1st year) will receive an incremental hourly raise commensurate with skill gains. -Promotion and guaranteed full-time employment upon successful apprenticeship completion. -Continued growth and learning including professional development opportunities. Pay advancement – top welders earn $19-$28/hour.
