Job Title: Applicator (Liquid – Dry Fertilizer Operator) About Employer: -This employer is a long-established Ag Retailer located in a rural area in East Central Nebraska within an hour drive of major shopping, restaurants, sports, theaters, and other activities. Employer offers a team atmosphere and competitive compensation and benefits package. Job Description: Ag Chem Applicators are responsible for the operation of a high-clearance sprayer or floater and the effective application of pesticides or fertilizer. Duties to include: -Mixing, loading and applying pesticides or fertilizers to customer fields at approved applicable rates -Educate customers on products being applied to fields, techniques utilized, and how you can continue to support them with products and services -Assisting the sales staff in ensuring orders are correct and customer needs are met -Performing warehouse work to include driving loader, forklift, mechanics, and maintenance -Possible pick-up and delivery of product to customer -Maintaining a clean driving record -Other duties as assigned Employer will consider training an individual with ability to obtain all licenses after employment. This is a full-time, wage-earning position with opportunities for overtime and a year-end bonus as well as a good benefits package including medical insurance, retirement plan and paid vacation.

Job Requirements

Job Qualifications: -High school diploma or GEO with solid aptitude for Math -Farm background preferred -Commercial Chemical Applicator license or ability to obtain -Class A or B CDL with Tanker/Hazmat endorsement or ability to obtain -Solid Mechanical skills -Ability to work well independently -Detail-oriented -Preference for individual from area or looking to relocate back to this area of Nebraska
