Enterprise Software Developer - Intern - Norfolk, NE

Job Description:

The Enterprise Software Engineer works with every area of our company and affects every step of the sales and manufacturing process. This individual must be tech-savvy, eager to learn, and have experience integrating technological systems with businesses and/or manufacturers. This position will be responsible for ensuring that technology and data are best leveraged to grow our manufacturing company. • Provide technical support on installation, training, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of desktop technology hardware and software. • Provide technical guidance, support and training to end-users and technology team on Microsoft 365 development best practices and capabilities. • Design, develop and customize Microsoft 365 applications including SharePoint Online, Power Apps, PowerAutomate and Power BI. • Support Weiland’s cloud-based Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and business management software (ODOO). • Design and develop ODOO custom modules, features and functionalities using Python and ODOO framework. • Integrate the ERP system with downstream manufacturing processes and software systems. • Work with key stakeholders throughout the company to gather and analyze requirements for software projects. • Understand business processes and objectives to develop solutions that meet the needs of end users. • Develop and execute test plans to validate the functionality, performance, and security of software applications. • Coordinate the deployment of software releases into production and provide ongoing support and maintenance.

Job Requirements

• Pursuing a Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Engineer, or related field. • Adept at Microsoft 365 especially Excel, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Outlook. • Experience deploying technological advancements in business and/or manufacturing environments. • Proficient in Python programming language and web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript). • Familiarity with software development best practices, including version control (Git), code review, and testing methodologies. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
