Job Description:

Schedule: Monday through Friday, rotating weekends Reports To: Retail Pharmacist Position Summary: Assists the Pharmacist by filing physician prescriptions for medications for oral, rectal, topical, and injectable use. Managerial duties such as assisting with scheduling and budgeting activities, participates in performance improvement, and staff education. Actively participates in the coordination of interdepartmental program planning and implementation efforts. Always works under the supervision of a Pharmacist. Enters patient demographic and insurance information into the computer system. Enters prescriptions onto patient profiles. Checks patients out at cash register. Keeps Pharmacy clean, neat, organized.

Job Requirements

Education and Experience: • High School graduate or equivalent. • Graduate of a certified Pharmacy Technician Program. • Education in all age groups ranging from newborn to the geriatric population obtained either in school education or subsequent training. • Current Pharmacy Technician License in the state of Nebraska
