Community Fundraising Director - Norfolk, Nebraska

Job Description:

The Development Director is responsible for cultivating and managing a fundraising program for an area covering 11 counties. Candidate will prospect and cultivate donor relationships with the intent of identifying donors that qualify for a higher level of personal engagement. This position coordinates the cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship efforts for donors through strategic communications, mission-driven donor experiences, and personalization, with a special emphasis on completing the Capital Campaign. The position will work directly for the Corps Officer in Norfolk and in conjunction with the Western Division Development Department and its strategic approach to enhancing annual giving, major giving, and planned giving programs in Norfolk.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's Degree preferred or three to five years of non-profit fundraising, relationship building or related work experience in lieu of degree. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Physical requirements include lift and carry up to 30 pounds occasionally, stand, walk, and climb stairs, as well as the ability to drive to local and divisional events.
