Job Description:

Duties/Responsibilities: • Receive work order, blue prints, and any instructions for the job • Plan the details of the work order, tools, and material required • Accurately count all parts and verifies with work order • Notify Supervisor when discrepancies occur with work order • Clean and prepare surfaces to be welded • Set up, assemble, and weld parts • Fabricate the product by welding various metals • Check work to ensure a high quality product is produced • Clean all heavy splatter from welded parts • Inform Supervisor of needed supplies, materials, and equipment • Collaborate with other team associates while simultaneously developing a team environment • Follow detailed instructions, processes, and procedures • Comply with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements • Report problems with quality, processes, equipment, and defective/questionable materials to Supervisor • Provide hands-on job function training to co-workers and new associates as needed • Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies needed to accomplish job results • Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition to facilitate manufacturing functions, and follow safety regulations • Complete tasks as directed with minimum supervision • Perform other duties and assignments as requested Required Skills/Abilities: • Operate a MIG Welder and Robotics Welder • Good math, reading, and writing skills • Involves lifting up to 60 lbs., pulling, bending, stooping, subject to dust, dirt, and grease conditions. • Frequent Standing 90% of day, Walking 20% of day. • Exposed to moderate burns and flying objects. • Must possess, or have the ability, to develop knowledge of products manufactured • Prompt arrival and regular attendance at work • Must be able to wear personal protective equipment • Pleasant and cooperative with co-workers • Must be able to read a tape measure • Must be willing to work a flexible schedule

Job Requirements

Education and Experience: • High School Diploma or Equivalent. • 1-2 years robotic welding experience. • Ability to read blueprints and fabricate parts accordingly Physical Requirements: • Prolonged periods of standing • Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds at times.
