Job Description:
- Eastside Animal Center is looking for an agricultural oriented employee. This position will consist of assisting with cattle processing/husbandry and small animal care as well as various other duties. This position is for those who enjoy working with animals and producers/clientele. Eastside is a growing family friendly mixed animal practice located in Gothenburg, Nebraska. Gothenburg is an extremely clean and progressive town located in west-central Nebraska, directly on Interstate 80. It has a very proactive business environment, good schools, newly expanded hospital, and lots of area recreation. We have a nationally ranked golf course and are located near numerous lakes. Hunting and fishing opportunities abound. Our practice currently has 4 veterinarians, 1 technician, 2 assistants and 4 support staff members. Eastside Animal Center is approximately 65% large animal and 35% small animal with the bulk of the large animal being cow-calf. We have up to date facilities for both large and small animal. Large animal equipment consists of multiple hydraulic chutes, hydraulic calf cradles and portable AI barns. Small animal equipment consists of in-house blood machines, digital x-ray, ultrasound, and orthopedic capabilities.
