- The Bloomfield Veterinary Clinic is seeking a licensed veterinary technician for a full time position. The Bloomfield Veterinary Clinic is a well-established, two-doctor, mixed animal practice located in Bloomfield, NE. We offer many services to provide the best comprehensive care to our patients. On the small animal side of things, we provide wellness exams and preventative care, surgery, dentistry, and emergency services. We are able to offer in-house bloodwork and radiology as well. For large animals, we provide reproductive services, routine herd health services, surgery, and emergency care. The clinic has a haul in facility and we also spend time out on the road as a mobile clinic. We see a limited amount of equine cases, offering routine exams and preventative care, dental care, castration and wound repair, and emergency services. We are looking for a hard working technician with a willingness to learn. Both experienced and new licensed technicians are encouraged to apply. The mixed animal veterinary technician will work alongside a licensed veterinarian to assist with the care of small animals, cattle, and horses. They will assist with surgeries and procedures, perform laboratory tests, prepare vaccines and medications, take blood samples, place IV catheters, perform dental work, take radiographs, communicate with clients, assist in general cleaning duties, and help out with other tasks as needed.
