Internship Objective: The Fremont Moo has an opportunity for a current college level student looking to gain experience within the sports industry in digital and social media. Applicants should be studying a subject in a relevant field such as, but is not limited to, Sport Management, Business, Marketing, Social Media, Photography, Graphic Design, Videography, or Sales. Description: The Digital & Social Media Intern will work to capture/edit photos, basic graphic design tasks, produce videos, highlight reels, and work with other interns collaboratively. Reporting to and learning from the General Manager, this position will allow the applicant valuable learning experience towards a career in the sports field. This position will also allow the intern to gain exposure and knowledge of the entire operations of the Moo organization. Many interns have launched their career in the sports industry through an internship with the Fremont Moo. Responsibilities General Team Responsibilities: -Expected to be available for all Fremont Moo home games. Intern may have the opportunity to travel with the team to capture content as well. -Intern will be expected to report to the office on home game days 5 hours prior to first pitch -Requires ability to work flexible schedules including nights and weekends. -If there is not a game on a weekday, you will be expected to attend office hours each day. -Collaborate as part of the intern team and assist in other areas outside of primary duties when needed. -You will be given significant responsibilities and will be part of a team asked to solve challenges in serving our customers As the backbone for behind the scenes production the role of Digital & Social Media Intern will focus on the following responsibilities: -Capture and edit Video/Images of pre, during and post game action, fans, promotions, mascot, and other events/activities. -Utilize photo/video/graphic design software to execute initiatives -Create Social Media content, including graphics and edited photos -Work closely with Media / Broadcast intern to provide pre/ post game interviews -Implement comprehensive and creative marketing campaigns supporting ticket sales and brand exposure and awareness. -Edits and produces video highlights throughout the Moo season. -Assist with managing social media efforts for the Moo official accounts including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and others. -Provide social media coverage on game days, and other Moo events. -Assist in scheduling and implementing a social media calendar. -Suggest social media postings from prior experience and pitch new/creative ideas for content -Film game action on the field, fans throughout the ballpark, on-field promotions, and other events happening around the ballpark. Interact with fans while capturing content to display on Cougars social media accounts (Facebook, X, Instagram, LinkedIn etc.) -Assist with updating content on team website www.fremontmoo.com. About the Organization: The Fremont Moo began playing in 2019. Each team in the league operated similar to a professional minor league team, providing players an opportunity to play under the same conditions using wooden bats, minor league specification baseballs, experiencing overnight road trips, and playing nightly. The environment for fans is family - friendly and community focused. The Fremont Moo have won 2 league championships in the first 5 seasons of existence. The Fremont Moo have a mission to use FUN and affordable entertainment provided by the Moo organization as a vehicle to make a positive difference in the lives of our families, businesses, players, and communities we serve. Moo Baseball is more than just a baseball game. In fact, many of our fans don’t attend our games just for the baseball game. They come for the fun promotions, theme nights, daily specials, food/drinks with friends, family, or colleagues, and overall entertainment value the Moo and our business partners provide. Compensation: All interns will receive a monthly stipend to assist with travel and living expenses. Housing may be available with a host family. All interns receive free food after home games, tickets, and many more perks. Credit: College credit towards a major, minor or general elective may be earned and is desired. There are educational and work components to this position. Job Requirements

Requirements: The following are prerequisites for the position: A love of baseball – your passion will help us succeed -Well-organized – we are a lean and efficient organization and need to stay organized to be successful -Goal-oriented – like the players, the front office will set goals and use them to measure our success -Ability to multi-task and work independently –we all chip in, and we need people that can do the right thing and display the ability to be a self starter. -HS Diploma and work towards a college degree required -Candidate must be prepared to work game nights and other stadium events during the season -Very comfortable with fan interaction -Commitment, timeliness, and positivity are required -Desire to leave your stamp of creativity on the legacy of Moo Baseball Desired Skills/Qualifications -Technical experience in video production/editing, photography/editing, and experience with video/photo/graphic design software -Experience in creating social media content and graphics for professional purposes. -Some experience in lighting and shoot set up is a plus -Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Photoshop, After Effects etc. -Able to assume other responsibilities as necessary
